I was born in Romania and have lived between Italy and England since I was 18, travelling extensively around the world. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, majoring in Chinese and English, from the University of Bologna, and I hold a master’s degree in Global Political Economy from City University of London. In my early 30s, I discovered my passion for counselling and psychology, and I became a professional counsellor in Italy in 2024. I wrote a book in Italian called ‘Royal Blue’ but I never really focused on promoting it.
My love for filming and photography has been a lifelong pursuit, which I began to focus on professionally in 2019. I continually seek to enhance my skills as a video maker, viewing filming as both a way of life and a crucial part of my identity, using my camera to capture life’s beauty.
The Blog posts I plan to write will reflect my interests and professional activities, covering topics such as personal growth (as a counsellor), travel (as a traveller and travel videographer), language learning (as a polyglot), people and places (due to my curiosity about different cultures and destinations), movies (since I am a videographer), and books (I could spend all day reading). As I continue, if I find other topics that resonate with me and my work, I will include them as well.
P.S – I have a lovely dog called Paffy and the cutest vintage Fiat 500 from 1972! (see photos below)
